Best Signing of the Season 24 25
It was indeed a busy transfer market, we saw Real Madrid signing one of the biggest players in Europe. But which amongst these transfers are really the best.
8. Alvaro Morata to AC Milan
Spain national team captain, Avaro Morata has always been at the winning side in the transfer market. A move to Chelsea, Juventus, Atletico Madrid, Morata transfer has always been huge.
Scoring 21 goals for Atletico Madrid in 2023/24 has seen the Spanish International make a £10.9m move to Milan.
The Italian league might not be new for Morata, playing for Juventus kind of make things easy for him to adapt in Milan.
7. Savio to Manchester City
Because of the relationship between City and Troyes, Pep Guardiola made a convincing £30.8m move for 20 year old Savio.
Savio’s loan move to Girona in 2023/24 contributed to Girona qualifying for their first Champions league in the history of the club.
We saw Savio’s brilliant performance for City victory against United at the Carabao final.
Fans think he a good replacement for Mahrez, some fans claims he is Mahrez in another man’s body.
6. Joshua Zirkzee to Manchester United
The Red Devil signed Joshua Zirkzee from Bologna for £35m, which is not a bad deal for the young Dutch.
Considering his age at his performance for Bologna in 2023/24, Zirkzee seems to be a perfect addition to United’s attack.
His style of play seems to be that of Dimitar Berbatov and Zlantan Ibrahimovic, slow and dangerous at goal.
5. Leny Yoro to Manchester United
Considering Manchester United’s poor performance last season, Erik ten hag has tried to go all out. The Reds had a busy transfer window, splashing £52.2m for 18 years Leny Yoro.
The kid makes the list of the most expensive young defenders in football history. He seems to be the perfect pair for Martinez and Harry Maguire.
Following the departure of Raphael Verane, £52.2m for Yoro isn’t that a bad deal for his age and talent.
4. Joao Palhinha to Bayern Munich
£47.1m for Joao Palhinha is not really bad following his consistency in the English Premier League.
The Portuguese has always wanted a move to Bayern Munich, he is a good addition to Bayern. Following Bayerns falling out of the Bundesliga to Bayern Leverkusen in 2023/24 campaign, Palhinha is a good reinforcement to the team.
3. Douglas Luiz to Juventus
Brazilian midfielder Douglas Luiz completed a move from Premier league to Italian Serie A for a fee worth £42.4m.
Juventus looks to replace Rabiot following his departure, Douglas is nothing but the perfect replacement for Rabiot.
It was quite a deal for Juventus signing the Brazilian at such an amount.
2. Michael Olise to Bayern Munich
Michael Olise had a fine form in the 2023/24 campaign for Crystal Palace, contributing to 16 goals in just 14 games.
Every big club actually wanted 22-years Olise, Chelsea was at the verge of completing a deal, but Bayern was quick to splash £50.8m to Palace.
Olise to Bayern for £50.8m was nothing but the best transfer deal in 2024.
1. Kylian Mbappe to Real Madrid
Kylian Mbappe had a brilliant time with PSG but the young France player has always wanted something more.
Real Madrid took advantage of his quest for the ballon d’or award to sign of the best footballer for free.
