With the manner at which clubs are sacking coaches, club coaching jobs seems to be a tough one considering the expectations.
Most especially in the English premier league, there are several coaches under pressure. Erik ten hag despite winning 2 trophies for the red devil is still under pressure.
Manchester United are still struggling to win their games, winning just 3 out of their last 7 games.

5. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer
Manchester United legend Ole Gunnar Solskjaer became Manchester United but was later sacked. Ole’s failure to win the Europa league final was the beginning of his failure.
But it is a surprise to many fans as to why Ole has not gotten another coaching job.
In October, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was seen taking tours around MLS soccer clubs. Many fans felt he was going to make a move to Charlotte FC, but it was all a rumor.

4. Massimiliano Allegri
Massimiliano Allegri is an experienced coach, his reign in Italian league speaks volumes of his standard.
Allegri managed Juventus from 2014 to 2019, where he carried five league titles, won four Italian cups. Allegri also led Juventus twice to the Champions league final where lost both finals.
But in 2019 Massimiliano Allegri left Juventus, but returned as the head coach after two years in 2022/2023.
It is quite unfortunate his second tenure wasn’t as his first spell at Juventus, in 2024 Allegri was sacked due to football federation disciplinary measures.
With all of these achievements and experience, Massimiliano Allegri is still out of work.
3. Thomas Tuchel
When we talk about successful managers, Thomas Tuchel will always be mentioned. Haven won the champions league, three domestic cups and three league titles.
Thomas Tuchel left Chelsea despite having a good run at Chelsea but had slight issues with the board.
After leaving Chelsea, Thomas Tuchel took over the Bayern Munich coaching job. But it was so unfortunate he led the German champions to their first trophyless season after 11 years.
Considering his reputation and past success, Thomas Tuchel has always found it difficult to relate positively with club boards as he wants everything his way.
2. Jurgen Klopp
Klopp’s success and result at Borussia Dortmund led to why Liverpool signed him as their new head of coach.
We saw how Jurgen Klopp transformed Liverpool, making the team regain their past glory.
But early in 2024, Klopp announced he will be departing from Liverpool, announcing he needs to rest from coaching job for a while.
“I have to start with the rest now and then we will see,” he said on departing Liverpool. “But it’s not now that I feel already and [think about] maybe the next opportunity. You only have to look outside which clubs are obviously available and stuff like this.
“There will be opportunities, but I don’t sit here and think, ‘Maybe in a year’s time I will take that’. At this moment, see you later.”
1. Zinedine Zidane
Zidane had a decorated football career as a player, after retirement a few years later the France International decided to go into coaching.
It was clear Zidane had not been a coach for a long period unlike Klopp, but we can’t talk about decorated coaches without calling Zinedine Zidane.
Zidane eventually won every title he had competed for with Real Madrid. It was not an easy task to win the champions league 3 consecutive times.
Winning two la Liga, club world cup, Spanish super cup, name them, Zidane was ready to lift them.
In 2020/2021 Zidane went trophyless and he decided to step down for a while.
It is still a surprise to many fans, a coach with such achievement will be out of work for a long period.
Zinedine Zidane admitted he will be back very soon, claiming he has not left coaching for good during an interview with RMC Sport.
