GOAT Ranking (Player Category)

Football as a professional sport is more than 150 years old with thousands of passionate talents and great professionals fighting for their countries and clubs at all levels, across different continents and different generations. While only a few elite players make it into the GOAT bracket among fans and media, it is impossible to limit the football GOAT list into two candidates, Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi. In fact, the GOAT debate that dominated the 20th century was between Pele and Maradona. But overall, the GOAT list has to be larger than having only 4 entries.

However, it is pretty obvious that the players in the GOAT list are not equal in their merits to claim the GOAT status. Some players have an edge over other players, and this is what would decide who tops the GOAT list.

Much like it is done in the Balon O’dor award process, players nominated on the GOAT list would be ranked based on the number of votes they amassed over time. Please, note that each football fan is only allowed to choose and vote for one player. Make sure you vote for your ultimate choice and share with your football pals.
